We invite you to join us each week for this time of dynamic worship and preaching from God's Word. Come as you are, we are really casual. We are seeking to develop an atmosphere of acceptance of God's love and service. Pastor David's Blog: July 27, 2007What is your temperature? What is your normal body temperature? I think most of us are around 98.6 degrees. Some of us may be a little hotter than normal, some of us may be a little cooler than normal. I will let you decide what your normal is!!!! What about your spiritual temperature? Did you know that the Bible speaks of us being cold, hot or lukewarm? The church at Laocdecia (mentioned in Revelation 3) was rebuked for being lukewarm. They were content in their state and did not realize their spiritual need because of their wealth and comfort. The Bible speaks of 3 spiritual temperatures: 1. A burning heart, on fire for God - Luke 24:32 2. A cold heart - Matthew 24:12 3. A lukewarm heart - Revelation 3:16 A lukewarm Christian is comfortable, complacement and does not realize his need. Being independant from God, self satisfied and self secured is a dangerous spiritual state to be in. If you have not taken your spiritual temperature lately, better do so today. Ask the Lord to reveal your heart. Are you and I on fire for God!!!!!! Read all of Pastor David's blog entries >>Latest Website UpdatesWe've upgraded our site.
